My name is Evelyne Zinsstag, I studied protestant theology in Zurich, Basel and Bern in Switzerland. Since 2018, I am pastor of the French Reformed Church of Basel, a multicultural congregation with members from several continents. I'm involved in the Association of Feminist Theologians of German-Speaking Switzerland and in the Ecumenical Forum of European Christian Women (EFECW). Having grown up in the Gambia and the Ivory Coast, Africa has always been present in my life – first through the work of my father, and now through networks like Tsena Malalaka or Mission 21. I am the mother of a son (born in May 2019).
