Tsena Malalaka gives me the chance to be in contact with women theologians in different contexts. I am happy to be part of it.

I am a biblical scholar, feminist, Swiss, catholic. When I am working with biblical texts, I see them as literature and I do my research with narratological and intertextual methods. The interpretation of a text depends on its reader. Therefore it is important to talk about different views on a text and to share one’s own understanding. My favorite way to do this is telling biblical stories to adults and children – the way I am telling fairy tales.

In addition to my research I am teaching biblical Hebrew, didactic of religion and other subjects around fairy tales, theology and the art of story-telling.
